The owner of Precious Collective, Josie Ciaciuch, grew up with a love for fashion. So, in 2019 she started a small online thrifting boutique, through Instagram, where she would find and resell secondhand clothing in order for beautiful pieces to find new homes. After only one year she obtained 1,000 loyal and loving followers. Venturing into that category of fashion and growing up with two sisters, whose sizes ranged from XS to Plus Size, Josie realized how much women of all sizes struggled to find clothing that was fashionable and size inclusive.

With an effort to keep size inclusivity in mind, Josie started Precious Collective in September of 2021 and ran it out of her college dorm room. Following graduation in May of 2023, she quickly opened her first storefront in Gig Harbor, WA in July 2023. Precious Collective is created for the post-graduate, hardworking woman. We are a company that is created to empower and uplift all women no matter their size, occupation, relationship status etc.

"Elevated everyday" is a mindset that Josie has in her everyday wear and is something she wants to share with others. “In today’s world, we shouldn’t be ashamed of elevating our outfits everyday. Whether you want to wear a tank and a pair of jeans or if you want to dress up for a date night, you shouldn’t feel the need to diminish your love for clothing. You should express yourself through your clothing! Elevate your everyday look with our hand-selected pieces whether that is with a new jacket or a new accessory, we strive to have you covered through your 9-5 and beyond!” says Josie. She has always had the mindset that you can look “elevated” in any instance whether you are going to the grocery store or going out on a date.
