FROM COLLEGE DORM TO GIG HARBOR STOREFRONT

The owner of Precious Collective, Josie Ciaciuch, grew up with a love for fashion. So, in 2019 she started a small online thrifting boutique through Instagram that quickly grew from a hobby to a passion.

Growing up with two sisters, whose sizes ranged from XS to Plus Size, Josie realized how much women of all sizes struggled to find clothing that was fashionable and size inclusive. So, she ventured into the boutique industry and with an effort to keep size inclusivity in mind, Josie started Precious Collective in September of 2021. Running everything out of her dorm room through Junior and Senior year of college, she realized it was something she wanted to do beyond college.

After graduation in May of 2023, she promptly opened her first storefront in July of 2023 in Gig Harbor, WA. Her passion and love for Precious Collective and helping women of all sizes find clothing has only grown stronger.
